One ship, many stories…
Mayflower 400 commemorates the sailing of the Mayflower from England to America four centuries ago. The anniversary gave me the opportunity to curate, create and consider the power of the past on both sides of the Atlantic.
Mayflower 400: Legend and Legacy – the national commemorative exhibition for The Box, Plymouth
Research, development and delivery of storylines, objects, images, audio and film
Initiation and continuation of local, national and international partnerships including the Wampanoag Advisory Committee to Plymouth 400 (US) and the New England Historical Genealogical Society
Project management of international loans exhibition with museums, libraries and archives across the UK, US and The Netherlands
Creation of community engagement, learning and training programmes and resources for children, young people and volunteers

Co-curation (with Wampanoag cultural development agency SmokeSygnals) of new transatlantic touring exhibition featuring a new wampum belt made by the Wampanoag Nation

Partnership liaison with the British Museum, The Collection Lincoln, Guildhall Art Gallery London and SeaCity Southampton
Research and development of learning resources in association with Plimoth Plantation, the Wampanoag Nation, and the University of Plymouth, funded by the Charlton Foundation
